Omen is paying $10,000 for your best market ideas!
DXdao is currently voting on a community competition proposal on its xDai Base that, assuming it passes, will reward participants who come up with the best ideas for new markets. The competition is scheduled to open for new entries on May 23, and winners will receive a share of the $10,000 plus 5,000 REP prize pool for coming up with winning market ideas.
After the entry period, DXdao REP holders will vote starting June 2nd to determine the top 10 market ideas. Voting will finish on June 8, and the winning markets will be created and funded on Omen. Like Omen, the competition is running on xDai Chain, which means gas fees are very low.

All of the above is fair game for the competition! Omen is an open and decentralized platform, and markets can be created on Omen for almost any topic. Q — How are the outcomes of these complex markets determined on the blockchain?
A — Omen uses Reality.eth, which will determine the winning outcome of the market in accordance with Omen’s market resolution rules. Kleros, a reputable decentralized jury system, will resolve any disputes about the market. For contentious markets, such as in the case of the market for the winner of the 2020 presidential election, the entire network of 700+ Kleros jurors was used to securely determine the outcome.

- Top 5 best market ideas will each win $1,500 xDAI and 750 REP on DXdao
- Rank 6–10 best market ideas will each win $500 xDAI and 250 REP on DXdao
